One of our most popular mixed variety packs in recent times was last years Campania Pack so… it’s BACK. Just in time for spring and the start of picnics in the park, days soaking up the rays on the beach or the happy go lucky feeling of shaking off those winter blues, a perfectly balanced 6 pack of Chalmers wines that is inspired by with varieties that hark from Campania, Italy.
Campania varieties make up around 50% of the Chalmers range so i guess you can say we have a little obsession with the region. From its dramatic cliffs, terraced vineyards, picturesque villages that seemingly look like they hang from the hillside, the rich culture, food and wine of the Amalfi coast and surrounds is a must to tick off the bucket list.
Fiano, Greco, Falanghina, Aglianico and Piedirosso amongst others, were key imports for our vision of sustainable farmed vineyards producing varieties that require less water, suit warm to hot climates that retain freshness and balance meaning less work in the winery. With the likes of Fiano and Aglianico now finding its way far and wide into many regions all around the country, its with a proud face that Chalmers have introduced these great grapes to the Australian people.
