The Chalmers family imported Prosecco into Australia in 1998. At the time it was not that well known outside the Veneto, where the Chalmers girls enjoyed a glass or three in their time living there. Since then it has become a household name all over the world, production in Australia has boomed and we are now making some excellent Prosecco wines right across the country.
Montevecchio Prosecco is grown in the Chalmers family’s home region of the Murray Darling. It is crisp with delicate florals and green apple freshness – everything you want in a fun glass of fizz. And at only 9.5% alcohol why not have an extra glass?
