Description
Montevecchio Rosso is a field blend made from a collection of loveable, red Italian varieties. It is estate grown, hand picked, co-fermented, wild yeast, basket pressed & vegan friendly.
The 2022 vintage saw a lovely balance between flavour development and structure sitting comfortably at 12.5%. Juicy mulberry and plum fruits, red earth, vanilla bean, lifted herbs, brambly notes and graphite pencil shavings. The palate is medium bodied with plenty of generous berry fruits, soft dusty tannins, Cambrian rocky outcrops, and a lick of sweet liquorice to finish, the perfect table wine.
