Description
Montevecchio Rosso is a field blend made from a collection of loveable, red Italian varieties. It is estate grown, hand picked, co-fermented, wild yeast, basket pressed & vegan friendly.
The 2021 vintage was almost the perfect growing season, no heat spikes, even ripening, lovely complex developed flavours while retaining lovely freshness and poise. The wine has lifted fragrant cherry and forest fruits, a pulpy fleshy feel to the mouth, juicy and fresh with just enough savoury interest to balance out the gentle and fine structure.
