Sangiovese is a variety in Australia that’s been kicking around for a while and now really just hitting its straps. It’s a great alternative to other light to medium bodied red wines such as Pinot Noir, Gamay or Grenache, with its bright red berry aromas, perfume lift and dusty fine tannin structure, its a variety that can do many things on the dinner table.
Estate grown and made with sustainable practices, it is wild fermented and aged in small to medium sized French wood for roughly 12 months. Bright raspberry and cranberry fruits, some muscular perfumed notes and rocky earth, it is light to medium bodied with a fine gravel texture and a moreish finish.
